So before we get too far, I'm gonna let you in on a few things you should know. First, my friend (lets call her Melissa) warned me that it "might be a little dusty" on the inside cause she didn't know how to take the sides off. "Might" was stretching the truth.....by about a mile and a half. There were dust bunnies the size of golf balls inside and I couldn't even SEE the motherboard through the grime. *shudders* I swear, dust bunnies that size were thought to be extinct, only to be found in fossils. Now, I had worked on another tower of hers before and it wasn't near as bad. In fact, it was quite an easy job/fix. So I thought, "how bad could this one be?" Oh let me tell you.

After the initial shock of "Holy cow this is dusty!!" I started blowing out as much as the dust as possible. There was quite a bit of sneezing involved, and after the dust settled and I could actually see what was in the computer is where the fun began.

While inspecting the computer, I found there were actually 2 hard drives instead of the normal 1 that I usually find in HP's. The first one was actually screwed onto the bottom/floor of the tower (right where all the dust accumulates). The second was attached vertically underneath the DVD drives on the backside of another expansion bay.
It's getting late...and the hard drives are being formatted, so I'm gonna have to call it a night. More to come
